There are so many wonderful zoos and animal attractions to visit in Norfolkso whether you are visitng the county for the weekend or if you are a local you are sure to have a fun day out!

Amazona Zoo in Cromer is a fairly new zoo to the county opening in 2008.

Banham Zoo, Norwich. A fantastic zoo with lots to see and do. A good sized play area for the kids to have a swing, slide, run about, balance on the beams etc. A great day out! Plus they accept tesco clubcard deals vouchers!

Church Farm, Kings Lynn - Rare breed farm animals, a good sized play area and tractor rides

Great Yarmouth Sea Life Centre - sharks, turtles, penguins and loads of fish. sea life is an excellent choice.

Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary - similar to the great yarmouth sealife centre but bigger and with otters!

Wroxham Barns, Hoveton, Norfolk - you can brush the ponies, feed the rabbits and calves and even collect eggs from the hens. Plus there are plenty of interesting craft shops and a few small fairground style rides, a lovely day out

Day out in Norfolk - Bewilderwood

We went to bewilderwood in the Easter week and I must say that it was amazing!

So much to do - climbing, sliding, running, jumping even making your own easter cards (when you just wanted to take a break).

from the moment you get there you are in the 'twiggle' mood. You can walk to the park along a wooden walk way or you can take the boat and hear the stories of the people who live in bewilderwood - twiggles! You even get to see Mildred the Crocklebog and she may even say hello - if you are lucky.

The food here is great too and very reasonable! We had 3 coffees and a cup of tea and it came to just over £5! The hot dogs look amazing but as we were all stuffed with easter chocolate we thought it best to avoid (especially as we had a picnic with us).

if you are looking for a good fun day out, I would recommend Bewilderwood.

I love having days out with the kids and will be updating the blog with details of the days out which we have been on. Feel free to make comments and suggest places to go.
